Growth capital firm Playbook Partners has successfully raised $130 million from a group of investors for its maiden $250 million growth capital fund.

The firm, founded by ex-Reliance Jio executive Vikas Choudhury, secured investments from Europe, the US, the Middle East, and India, according to a company statement released on Tuesday.

Playbook Partners achieved its first close within four months, raising over $130 million through established global investors. The fund, capitalizing on strong institutional interest, can grow up to $250 million using the green-shoe option.
