CM Dhami Vows Crackdown on Criminal Elements in Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on Monday that severe actions will be taken against anyone undermining the peaceful environment of Uttarakhand. Emphasizing the state's tranquil ethos, Dhami stated that any criminal activities disrupting law and order would not be tolerated.
Dhami revealed a sweeping verification campaign aimed at identifying disruptive elements. He assured that law enforcement agencies would rigorously address criminal activities. On September 4, CM Dhami reviewed the police headquarters in Dehradun, including the women's safety helpline and various police initiatives.
In these assessments, Dhami instructed officers to bolster law and order, focusing on crimes against women, ensuring quick assistance for those in need. He also called for prompt actions against demographic shifts, conversions, and love jihad cases, stressing that peace disruptors will face stringent actions.
The Chief Minister urged senior police officials to inspect the police stations from the inception of their careers and assist in reinforcing these establishments. An intensive campaign to monitor and apprehend criminals was also mandated.
