Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) has dismissed allegations made in a social media video that a company official was adjusting Union Minister Satish Chandra Dubey's pyjamas as unfounded and misleading.

The company clarified that the official was actually helping the Minister of State for Coal and Mines to fix a belt used for carrying a headlamp battery. This contradicts claims circulating online.

BCCL emphasized that during Dubey's recent visit, the media misrepresented the routine handling of his mining boots, which are removed using a mechanical instrument, not manually. The company also highlighted its crucial role in producing a significant portion of India's coking coal for the steel industry.
