Ministry of Social Justice to Host 'Chintan Shivir' in Agra to Assess Social Empowerment Schemes

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is organizing a two-day 'Chintan Shivir' in Agra starting Monday. The conference aims to evaluate the progress of social empowerment schemes and foster better coordination between Central and state authorities.

The event will bring together key stakeholders, including ministers and senior officials from across the country, to discuss Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Vision 2047' for social upliftment. Union Minister Virendra Kumar will chair the sessions, with contributions from Union ministers of state BL Verma and Ramdas Athawale.

Presentations will focus on a variety of schemes targeting marginalized communities such as Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Persons with Disabilities. The conference will also discuss financial assistance and skill development programs. A visit to the Taj Mahal will conclude the event, adding a cultural dimension to the proceedings.
