PM Modi Announces Ex-Gratia for Hathras Road Accident Victims
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of those who died in the Hathras road accident. 12 individuals perished, and 16 were injured in the mishap. Both local and state authorities are providing comprehensive support to the victims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the tragic Hathras road accident, which resulted in 12 fatalities. On Friday, Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for each of the deceased's next of kin and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
"The road accident in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh is extremely painful. My deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured," Modi stated, asserting that both local and state authorities are providing all possible support to the victims.
Additionally, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi condemned the accident and urged the state government to ensure immediate treatment and adequate compensation for the affected families. Hathras District Magistrate Ashish Kumar confirmed 12 deaths and 16 injuries from the collision between a roadways bus and a loader vehicle.
