Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy convened a meeting with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay on Friday to address the devastating floods impacting the state.
In a social media post, CM Reddy detailed discussions on flood damage and relief measures, announcing an immediate relief of Rs 10,000 for affected families. A PowerPoint presentation and photo exhibition illustrated the dire conditions in flood-affected villages, especially highlighting severe crop damage and a damaged railway track in Mahabubabad district.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with other senior officials, attended the meeting, which also featured Union Ministers visiting a photo exhibition showcasing the flooding's impact. During his two-day visit, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted an aerial survey of affected areas and interacted with local farmers.
