In a scathing statement, BRS Party Working President KT Rama Rao has condemned the Telangana government for the alleged illegal detention of former Digital Media Director Dileep Konatham. The leader claimed that Konatham was detained without any formal charges or clear information regarding his arrest.

The BRS Party asserts that Konatham's detention follows a series of incidents where he questioned the Revanth Reddy-led government's efficiency. The party accused the administration of using revenge politics to silence its critics. Despite a previous High Court reprimand, the state government allegedly continues targeting dissenting voices, showing disregard for democratic principles.

KTR strongly condemned the unlawful detention and called for Dileep's immediate release. He stated that no number of false cases or arrests would suppress voices against the administration. Furthermore, KTR accused CM Revanth Reddy of providing false data regarding flood death tolls, urging the government to correct the misinformation.
