Two school students were killed and three critically injured in a tragic accident involving a school bus and a government bus in Kapagal, Raichur district, on Thursday, according to local police.

The bus, which carried 42 students heading to a private school, crashed head-on with the government vehicle.

Police sources noted that some students lost limbs in the accident, while chief figures including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy expressed their condolences.
