Lt Gen AS Pendharkar Reviews Operational Readiness in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam

Lt Gen AS Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps, recently visited an Indian Army formation at the Sigar Military Station in Arunachal Pradesh. During the visit, he reviewed the operational preparedness and combat readiness of the troops.
In a post on platform X, the Indian Army's Spear Corps stated, "Lt Gen AS Pendharkar, GOC #SpearCorps, visited an #IndianArmy formation in Sigar Military Station, #ArunachalPradesh and reviewed their operational preparedness and combat readiness. The GOC witnessed #NewGeneration equipment and numerous innovations that aid in enhancing combat potential in forward areas." During his visit, he interacted with various ranks, applauding their professionalism, dedication, and high morale.
Earlier, the Spear Corps shared that the GOC had visited the Lohit Valley in Arunachal Pradesh. There, he interacted with troops stationed in forward locations and assessed their operational readiness. In addition, Lt Gen Pendharkar paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Kibithu War Memorial and praised the dedication and motivation of the personnel. He also urged them to achieve greater excellence.
Continuing his assessment, Lt Gen Pendharkar visited the Dinjan Military Station in Assam to review the Dao Division's operational readiness. The Corps Commander was shown new generation equipment that boosts battlefield dominance. He lauded the troops for their exemplary professionalism and high morale, stressing the importance of readiness in facing emerging security challenges.
