On Wednesday, software firm PDRL unveiled BhuMeet, an advanced SaaS platform designed to bridge the gap between drone service providers and farmers.

BhuMeet aims to make it easier for users to find and hire local drone service providers, enhancing service delivery through efficient and localized means, the company stated.

"By bridging the gap between farmers and reliable service providers, BhuMeet not only enhances operational efficiency but also empowers the agricultural community to harness the full potential of drone technology," said PDRL founder and CEO Anil Chandaliya.

This innovative platform, the first of its kind in India, aims to modernize agriculture nationwide, added Chandaliya.

Founder and CTO Vishal Dharankar noted that the app is initially available in select regions of South India and Gujarat as a pilot project, with plans for nationwide expansion by the end of 2024.

Currently available in six languages, BhuMeet has over 100 service providers lined up for onboarding, Dharankar added.
