In response to a drone attack on unarmed villagers in Manipur's Koutruk, Rajya Sabha MP Sanajaoba has established a high-level committee for a thorough investigation. The assault, allegedly carried out by Kuki militants, involved sophisticated weapons and resulted in casualties.

During a high-level meeting on Monday, attended by key officials including Additional Director General of Police Ashutosh Kumar Sinha and Major Generals SS Kartikeya and Ravroop Singh, the investigative committee was tasked with delivering its report by September 13, 2024.
