Punjab Police Personnel Injured in Altercation Among Singer's Father's Security Detail

A Punjab Police personnel sustained injuries after an altercation broke out among security guards assigned to the father of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, Balkaur Singh. The incident transpired on Friday night at Balkaur Singh's residence in Moosa village, Mansa district.

The injured guard, identified as Gurdeep Singh, suffered head injuries and was subsequently admitted to a hospital in Mansa. Mansa Deputy Superintendent of Police GS Bains attributed the dispute to personal matters between the guards and said that further investigation would clarify the incident.

Bains emphasized that the altercation did not constitute a security breach since the guards were off duty when the fight occurred. "Around 11 pm, a fight erupted among three security personnel assigned to Balkaur Singh. It was due to a personal matter. This is not a security breach as they were off duty," the Deputy Superintendent elaborated.
