A 26-year-old named Anish Banerjee lost his life in a tragic road accident, officials reported. Admitted to JPNATC at AIIMS, New Delhi, he was declared brain-dead despite extensive care.

Transplant coordinators from the Organ Retrieval Banking Organisation (ORBO) at AIIMS sensitively guided Anish's family through the concept of brain death and organ donation.

Dr. Aarti Vij, Prof In-charge of ORBO, thanked the family for their courage. 'In a remarkable display of compassion, Anish's family decided to donate his organs, giving hope to those in need,' she said. The act stands as a noble tribute, transforming their sorrow into a beacon of hope for others.
