Odisha Govt Launches Subhadra Yojana: Empowering Women with Financial Aid
The Odisha government has introduced a toll-free number to assist beneficiaries of the Subhadra Yojana, which provides financial aid to women aged 21-60. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive Rs 10,000 annually for five years. The scheme will be officially rolled out on September 17.

The Odisha government on Friday introduced a toll-free number to aid beneficiaries of its flagship welfare scheme, Subhadra Yojana, targeting women aged 21 to 60 years.
According to official guidelines, applicants must be covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) or the State Food Security Scheme (SFSS). Women from families without these cards, but with an annual income not exceeding Rs 2.50 lakh, are also eligible.
The Women and Child Development (W&CD) department released the toll-free number (14678) ahead of the scheme's rollout on September 17. Detailed information is available by calling this number between 6 am and 10 pm.
