The Global Fintech Fest 2024, held from August 28 to 30 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, culminated yesterday with the announcement of the prestigious Global Fintech Awards (GFA) 2024.

The awards recognized trailblazers in the fintech ecosystem across three major categories and 19 subcategories. Key honors included Sameer Nigam, CEO of PhonePe, being named Fintech Person of the Year – India, and Melissa Frakman, CEO of Emphasis Ventures, receiving the title of Fintech Person of the Year – Global.
