Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the four-day 'Madhya Pradesh Utsav' at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi on Friday. The festival, running from August 30 to September 2, 2024, showcases the state's rich art, cultural heritage, tourism, public welfare schemes, and achievements.

"Today, I inaugurated the 'Madhya Pradesh Utsav' at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan by lighting a lamp. The exhibition offers a vibrant glimpse into the state's folk art, culture, cuisine, and archaeology," said the Chief Minister in a post on X. He emphasized that the festival aims to introduce Madhya Pradesh's diverse heritage to the nation's capital.

Praising the 'Heritage of Madhya Pradesh' exhibition, organized by the state's Directorate of Archaeology, Archives, and Museum, the CM noted the challenging work being undertaken to restore ancient temples and shrines. He lauded the efforts to honor Gond artists and highlight the ten-thousand-year-old rock paintings of Bhimbetka. Visitors can also enjoy regional dishes of Sri Anna (millets) during the festival.

Earlier, the Chief Minister met students studying in Delhi on Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe scholarships from the Madhya Pradesh Government, who expressed their gratitude for the scheme.
