India's CAG Signs MoU with Bahrain's National Audit Office to Boost Bilateral Cooperation
The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAI Bahrain's National Audit Office. This agreement aims to enhance audit collaboration, develop professional skills, and promote training activities between the two nations.

New Delhi, [India], August 28 (ANI): In a significant move towards fostering international cooperation, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAI Bahrain, the National Audit Office of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in Manama.
The agreement, inked by the supreme audit institutions of both nations, aims to enhance collaboration and mutual cooperation in audit activities. It will also focus on developing the professional skills of the staff members of both countries. Through this MoU, a platform will be created to encourage training activities, expert visits, and the exchange of technical information and research in auditing.
Girish Chandra Murmu, the CAG of India, expressed his confidence in the partnership, stating that the MoU would open several avenues for operationalizing knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives. Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Auditor General of Bahrain, emphasized the importance of the agreement in strengthening professional capacity and audit methodologies.
This MoU is poised to strengthen bilateral relations and promote closer ties between India and Bahrain. Additionally, during his visit to Manama, the CAG of India interacted with the Odiya community in Bahrain, commending their role in enhancing Odisha's identity on the global stage.
