Guyana's Oil Production Dips Amid Pipeline Work
Exxon Mobil's crude output in Guyana recently declined to between 400,000 and 500,000 barrels per day due to work on production facilities, including the connection of a natural gas pipeline. This information, released by the government and reported by Reuters, indicates the impact of maintaining and upgrading offshore oil production assets.

Exxon Mobil's crude output from its consortium in Guyana declined to between 400,000 and 500,000 barrels per day from July 2 to the month's end, according to data disclosed by the government and seen by Reuters on Monday. This decline signals the initiation of work on production facilities.
Earlier this year, Exxon announced plans to shut down two of its offshore oil production vessels in Guyana for two weeks each, from July through August, to facilitate the connection of a natural gas pipeline.
