Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami by performing 'Gau-Seva' at his residence in Bhopal. In his address, he extended warm greetings to the citizens, emphasizing the teachings and bravery of Lord Krishna.
On X, CM Yadav conveyed his best wishes for the festival, hoping for Lord Krishna's blessings to bring happiness and prosperity. He also announced government plans to develop religious sites associated with Lord Krishna into pilgrimage destinations.
He highlighted the historic significance of Amjhera in Dhar district, where Krishna fought Rukmini's brother Rukmi, and promised further support for Gaushalas and milk production. Krishna Janmashtami, celebrating Krishna's birth, sees nationwide observances, including fasting and temple decorations, especially vibrant in Mathura and Vrindavan.
