Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended greetings on Krishna Janmashtami, urging citizens on Sunday to draw inspiration from Lord Krishna's life to become partners in the state's development by fostering love, brotherhood, and harmony in society. He emphasized that Lord Krishna's life teaches the human race to combat unrighteousness, injustice, and oppression.
Dhami lauded Lord Krishna as humanity's protector and guide, noting that the teachings from the Gita, delivered by Krishna, still hold relevance today. He reminded citizens of Lord Krishna's messages of devotion, knowledge, yoga, and karma, which continue to inspire selfless work and the welfare of impoverished and neglected societal sections.
Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu also extended her warm greetings on Janmashtami. In her press release, Murmu wished citizens both within the country and abroad, encouraging dedication to Lord Krishna. She expressed her best wishes on this auspicious occasion, highlighting the festival's inspirational impact on societal dedication and devotion.
