Rain lashed several parts of Delhi in the early hours of Sunday, providing much-needed respite from persistently humid conditions. Areas including the Shastri Bhavan experienced light showers.

On August 24, continuous rainfall led to the submersion of various temples on the Ram Ghat, located on the banks of the Shipra River in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district. In response, district authorities have erected barricades on roads leading to the river ghats to prevent any untoward incidents.

Just a day earlier, on August 23, Delhi saw severe waterlogging and massive traffic congestion following heavy downpours, causing significant disruption in several parts of the city. (ANI)
