Huang Song, the former director of the competition department at the Chinese Football Association, has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for taking bribes. The announcement was made by state broadcaster CCTV on Tuesday.

In addition to the prison sentence, Huang has been fined 600,000 yuan ($84,000), as reported by CCTV.
