Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi inspected the training activities and facilities at the INS Shivaji naval base in Lonavala, Maharashtra, recognizing the incorporation of advanced technology and methodologies.

During his visit, Admiral Tripathi emphasized the importance of comprehensive training in achieving the Navy's primary mission of protecting national maritime interests. On August 7, he unveiled 'CNS Course to Steer-2024 (CTS-2024),' outlining his vision for a progressive, combat-ready navy.

A spokesperson highlighted that CTS-2024 envisions a cohesive and future-ready navy. Admiral Tripathi urged Navy leaders to use this document to guide the force in safeguarding maritime interests. He became the Navy's 26th Chief of Staff on April 30.

Furthermore, INS Tabar, a frontline frigate, participated in a Maritime Partnership Exercise with the German Navy off Kiel Canal, signifying strengthened maritime relations and cooperation between the nations.
