BSF and CRPF Rally for 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Ahead of Independence Day

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday held a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' bike rally in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, ahead of India's 78th Independence Day on August 15. Krishnanagar BSF DIG Sanjay Kumar emphasized the importance of national pride, stating, 'We want every citizen to feel proud of their country and hoist the national flag. We are distributing flags to everyone and sending out a message of unity in diversity.'
Kumar added, 'They should understand that people of different castes and religions can peacefully co-exist.' Simultaneously, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' walkathon in Srinagar. Ajay Kumar Yadav, IG, Srinagar Sector CRPF, said the event aims to foster respect for the Tiranga and spread its message of unity.
In Telangana, the CRPF conducted a rally from Parade Ground in Chandrayan Gutta to Charminar in Hyderabad as part of the campaign. Prime Minister Modi, during his 112th 'Mann Ki Baat' on July 28, urged all Indians to participate in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, which runs from August 9th to 15th to celebrate Independence Day. Launched in 2021 under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the initiative seeks to inspire patriotism and greater awareness of the national flag.
