Delhi Police Foil Rs 80 Lakh Robbery Plot in Krishna Nagar, Three Arrested

Delhi Police arrested three men planning to rob a collection agent of Rs 80 lakh in Krishna Nagar. The suspects were caught with a stolen scooty, fake number plate, a country-made pistol, and live cartridges. The trio had a history of criminal activities.

Delhi Police have thwarted a major robbery attempt by arresting three suspects who were planning to rob a collection agent of Rs 80 lakh in the Trans Yamuna area.

Identified as Mohd Shareef (32), Kishan (30), and Sameer (27), the suspects were nabbed while riding a stolen scooty with a fake number plate. Law enforcement recovered a country-made pistol and eight live cartridges from them.

Based on a tip-off, a raid was conducted in Krishna Nagar. The suspects, who have previous criminal records, were apprehended thanks to a sting operation near Anandpur Sahib Charitable Diagnostic Centre. They confessed to planning the robbery due to financial distress and had stolen the vehicle to evade police detection.
