Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda joined CM Patel in kicking off the 'Tiranga Yatra.' Addressing the event, Nadda said, 'Today, as we set out on 'Tiranga Yatra' and see 'Tiranga' all around us, the period of freedom also comes to mind. The state (Gujarat) has played a significant role in the independence movement of our nation.'
Nadda paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi's contributions to India's freedom struggle, reminding the nation of Gandhi's deep ties to the state of Gujarat. The BJP's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative, launched across the nation, was also highlighted. A cleanliness drive will accompany the campaign, encouraging citizens to hoist the tricolor at every home and business.
