Authorities have launched an investigation after a complaint of harassment was filed against an unidentified man in South Bengaluru. The alleged incident took place on the morning of August 2, according to police reports.
The case, filed under sections 76, 78, and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), was based on a complaint by the victim's husband. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP South) Lokesh Jagalasar emphasized the seriousness of the situation, reiterating that the safety and security of women is a top priority.
Jagalasar assured that measures are being implemented to increase police patrolling in vulnerable areas and that the suspect will be swiftly apprehended and legally prosecuted.
