Protests outside coaching institutes in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, marked their ninth consecutive day on Monday as students demanded accountability and compensation from the government and Rau's IAS study circle following the tragic death of three UPSC aspirants due to basement flooding.

Speaking to ANI, protestor Akansha highlighted that Monday would see a new form of demonstration starting at 6 p.m. with 'Nukkad Natak' (Street Acts). 'This is our tenth day of peaceful protest. Through our street acts, we will demand justice,' she said.

Fellow protestor Himanshu urged the government to address the students directly. 'The draft of our demands is ready. The government needs to discuss what action they've taken in front of all UPSC aspirants. The police investigation has been inadequate, and action against the main authorities, along with financial compensation, is necessary,' he stated.

Himanshu added that the state government assured them of implementing steps but emphasized the need for visible action. On Sunday, protestors called for the immediate release of the Delhi Coaching Educational Centre and Regulation Act draft for review.

Delhi Minister Atishi announced on August 2 that the AAP government and MCD would provide Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the deceased students, build a library in their memory, and establish regulatory measures for coaching institutes. AAP MP Sanjay Singh pledged Rs 1 crore to each family. (ANI).
