Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore officially assumed his role as the Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajasthan state president on Saturday. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma extended his congratulations, noting the outpouring of support from people across the state. Sharma highlighted Rathore's long-standing dedication to the party and praised his organizational skills.
Earlier, Rathore met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Parliament to express his gratitude for the appointment. Rathore described Shah as a role model for BJP workers and credited him with inspiring his commitment to the nation. 'Your dedication and vigor have infused new energy in me,' Rathore wrote on X.
The BJP recently announced new state leadership, appointing Rathore for Rajasthan and Dilip Jaiswal for Bihar. Other notable appointments include Harish Dwivedi for Assam, MP Atul Garg for Chandigarh, and Rajdeep Roy for Tripura, among others.
