Two devotees sustained minor injuries on Wednesday after an e-cart vehicle, suffering a brake failure, hit them on the premises of the Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain district, according to an assistant temple administrator.
The injured were identified as Lal Baba, a saint from Mahanirvani Akhada Ujjain, and Priya, 21, from Bhopal. They sustained leg injuries and were discharged after receiving primary treatment.
Assistant administrator Moolchand Junwal told ANI, 'A brake failure in an e-cart vehicle, used for the convenience of devotees at the temple, resulted in minor injuries to two individuals. Both received primary treatment and are now completely healthy.' He credited the driver's alertness for averting a major accident.
Lal Baba assured ANI that he sustained a minor leg injury and is now fine. Priya's mother spoke to reporters, expressing gratitude for the treatment and prayer for her daughter's recovery.
