Horrific Assault: 24-Year-Old Woman Raped on Medical College Campus
A 24-year-old mentally challenged woman was allegedly raped on the campus of a government medical college in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A 22-year-old man has been arrested. The incident was reported by activists from Moksha Sanstha. The woman had been staying at the shelter home of the college for the last one-and-a-half months.

A 24-year-old mentally challenged woman was allegedly raped on the campus of a government medical college and hospital in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district on Tuesday, police confirmed.
In connection with the heinous crime, police have arrested a 22-year-old man allegedly involved in the incident. The arrest was made following a complaint lodged by activists from the social organization Moksha Sanstha, according to Garha police station in-charge Nilesh Dohare.
The victim had been residing in a shelter home at the medical college and hospital for the past one-and-a-half months, revealed Ashish Thakur, founder of Moksha Sanstha. Activists discovered the assault early in the morning and promptly took the woman to the police station for further action.
