Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, on Thursday, July 26, directed district and tehsil administrators to efficiently resolve citizens' complaints during the state-level 'Swagat' program. Patel emphasized a proactive approach to ensure problems are addressed locally, preventing them from escalating to the state level.
While guiding district officials during the 'Swagat' program in Gandhinagar, Patel reiterated the importance of swift grievance redressal. He reviewed submissions from citizens and issued necessary instructions for their speedy resolution, as highlighted in a post on platform X.
Patel also evaluated the performance of Tehsildars in the Tehsil level 'Swagat' program, addressing grievances highlighted by representatives. He coordinated with department secretaries and district administrators for prompt action. The meeting saw participation from key officials, including Pankaj Joshi and Avantika Singh.
Furthermore, Patel, along with senior officials, reviewed the situation in seven rain-affected districts via a video conference. Instructions were given to evacuate low-lying areas, ensure health and food supplies, and prioritize the cleanup of fallen trees. Relief efforts, including surveys of casualties and agricultural damage, were also discussed.
