Tragedy Strikes: Two Boys Drown in Village Pond

Two teenage boys, Ayush Verma (14) and Pratik Verma (13), drowned in Ramkunda pond on the village outskirts. Despite attempts by villagers to save them, both were pronounced dead at the district hospital. The incident happened around 5 pm on Saturday, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

In a tragic incident, two teenage boys lost their lives while bathing in Ramkunda pond, situated at the outskirts of a village under Bondi police station.

The victims, identified as Ayush Verma, 14, and his relative Pratik Verma, 13, were rescued by villagers but were declared dead upon arrival at the district hospital.

The incident occurred at approximately 5 pm on Saturday. Authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
