Speaking at the third CII Digital Health Summit in the national capital on Friday, Paul said, 'Artificial Intelligence is going to change health care practice, public health, and health professional education. We are at the cusp of a revolution.'

The summit, themed 'Leveraging AI for Improving Health Outcomes,' organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), witnessed significant developments in AI. Paul stressed the importance of India taking a global lead in digital health innovations and called for contributions from all sectors of society.

'India's destiny is to lead the world in digital health and AI for health. Policy enablers, the private sector, industry, and academia should contribute to the health of India and global wellness,' Paul added. Notably, Rhea, a robot at the event, demonstrated AI's role in enhancing patient care, emphasizing that AI would support, not replace, doctors.
