A liver transplant was successfully performed on a 3-year-old boy, Chohan Aditya, by doctors at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad. The child had been suffering from liver issues since birth, and his mother donated part of her liver for the procedure.

In a statement issued by the Telangana Chief Minister's office, it was revealed that 30 people, including eight children, have successfully undergone liver transplantations at the hospital. The recent surgery on Chohan Aditya, son of Modugu Gunasekhar and Amala from Kondavanamala village, was led by Dr. Madhusudan.

According to the official release, Aditya had suffered from gall bladder and liver problems since birth. The transplant took place on July 3, and he and his mother were discharged from the hospital in good health on Tuesday.
