Delhi Police Solve Murder Case Involving Youthful Offenders

Delhi police apprehended three youths, accused of fatally stabbing a 22-year-old in Rohini. The fourth suspect remains at large. The incident came to light when the injured victim was discovered by PS KNK Marg staff and later declared dead at BSA Hospital.

Delhi police have successfully resolved a murder case from Tuesday, where four youths allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old man to death and fled in a vehicle, which was later seized. Three suspects—Piyush Pandey, Rachit Rajput, and Raghav Mittal—have been apprehended so far.

The chain of events unfolded on Monday evening when the staff of PS KNK Marg found an unconscious injured person on the roadside in Sector-16, Rohini. The injured victim, who bore visible injuries, was quickly transported to BSA Hospital, where he was declared dead by medical personnel. The deceased's body was preserved for an autopsy, and a case was subsequently registered based on the mother's statement.

Initial investigations, driven by the deceased's mother's suspicions, targeted boys who had previously threatened her son. CCTV footage analysis of around 300-400 cameras in the vicinity revealed a red car involved in the crime. This discovery led the police to identify the vehicle owner and gather detailed information about the suspects. The intensive probe, supplemented by technical surveillance and human intelligence, culminated in the arrest of 19-year-old Piyush Pandey, who later confessed and named his accomplices.

Further operations led to the capture of Rachit and Raghav Mittal. Raids continue to locate their fourth accomplice. The arrested individuals confessed that their actions were driven by a desire for revenge due to past enmity with the victim. Further investigations are ongoing.
