Sumant Sinha Joins as Co-Chair of Global CEO Climate Leaders Alliance

This group, part of the World Economic Forum, includes 130 CEOs across 12 industries and aims to drive strategic climate initiatives. Sumant Sinha, Chairman and CEO of ReNew, has been named Co-Chair of the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders, according to an official company statement released on Monday.
The alliance, touted as the world's largest CEO-led climate initiative, is a key project under the World Economic Forum's umbrella, the company announced.
Sinha will collaborate with 130 CEOs across 12 varied industries to push forward the alliance's strategic climate priorities.
The group's collective revenues amount to USD 4 trillion and account for 5.2 gigatonnes of carbon emissions, which is approximately 10% of the total global emissions, the statement noted.
''The Alliance has played a pivotal role in spearheading systemic actions and fostering collaboration between public and private sectors in the global energy transition. I am eager to work alongside talented co-chairs and global CEOs dedicated to implementing impactful climate solutions and innovations across different geographies and business sectors,'' Sinha remarked.
