Amid the absence of CCTV cameras, Delhi University's newly formed committee faces a challenging probe into the vandalism at the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) office.

The investigative committee, established on Monday, is led by Proctor Rajni Abbi and is set to rely heavily on witness testimonies, the accounts of security personnel, and other tangible evidence, Proctor Abbi confirmed to ANI. "We will recommend in our report that the installation of cameras is necessary," Abbi added, highlighting the need for improved surveillance.

The vandalism, which occurred during the night of July 13-14, involved ABVP accusing NSUI members of orchestrating the incident. Security officials noted significant damage, including a broken door and shattered mirror in the president's office. An FIR has been filed, and police are currently investigating. With rising tensions between ABVP and NSUI, the final report is anticipated to provide clarity and address broader issues in student governance.
