In a significant announcement at an event organized by the Akhil Bhartiya Rao Rajput Mahasabha, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma declared that the state government will ensure job opportunities for the youth in both government and private sectors. He also revealed plans to establish a sports university for aspiring athletes.

Sharma highlighted the state's commitment to welfare schemes for the poor and outlined the nation's developmental vision under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He pointed to the successful implementation of various welfare schemes, border security, the fight against terrorism and Naxalism, and India's rising global stature.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, who also serves as the state's finance minister, participated in the event. She detailed the state's recently presented budget for the financial year 2024-25, which includes the provision of 4 lakh jobs in the next five years and the introduction of a new 'Youth Policy-2024' offering apprenticeship and AI-based counseling programs. The budget also focuses on improving basic amenities, human resource development, rural and urban planning, farmers' empowerment, MSME development, heritage conservation, health access for all, social security for deprived families, and good governance.
