DUSU President Tushar Dedha lodged a complaint at Maurice Nagar Police Station on Sunday against alleged vandalism by NSUI members. According to Dedha, the DUSU Vice President Abhi Dahiya had been coercing him to embezzle Rs 18 lakh from DUSU funds. When Dedha resisted, Dahiya resorted to defamation and violence.

Dedha's complaint states that Dahiya, accompanied by over 40 supporters, entered Dedha's office intoxicated around 3 AM on July 14. The group allegedly vandalized the office, destroying a Lord Ram idol and a Swami Vivekanand portrait, and looted a watch. The offices of DUSU Secretary Aprajita and Joint Secretary Sachin Baisla were also ransacked.

Tushar Dedha emphasized that the Delhi Police assured strict action and noted damages to government property. Meanwhile, NSUI accused ABVP of diverting attention from serious issues like fake degrees and academic scams. NSUI President Varun Choudhary denounced ABVP's continued violence to mislead students.
