A SpiceJet employee, recently detained for slapping a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer at Jaipur Airport, has alleged that the officer used derogatory remarks against her.

On July 11, around 4:30 am, the woman claims, ASI Giriraj Prasad made inappropriate comments while she was performing her duties. When she threatened to file a police complaint, Prasad allegedly responded with more insults, threatening to have her dismissed from her job. The employee recounted her ordeal to ANI, stating that Prasad said, "Give me a chance to serve you, what will you take for one night stay?"

The situation intensified when the ASI filed a complaint against the employee before she could lodge hers. She asserted that her complaint was only made to the police and stressed her familiarity with SpiceJet's rules and regulations.

She further mentioned that she usually coordinates with female CISF staff during security checks and pointed out the absence of female staff at night. Reports indicate the incident escalated when she was asked to undergo mandatory screening, but no female CISF personnel were present.

According to a senior CISF official, this led to the employee's agitation and subsequent slap to the on-duty officer. As a result, a case was registered, leading to her arrest.

SpiceJet responded by issuing an official statement, highlighting a different perspective. The airline affirmed that their female employee, possessing a valid airport entry pass, was subjected to inappropriate language by the CISF officer. SpiceJet condemned the incident as a grave case of sexual harassment and committed to pursuing legal action.

The airline assured full support to their employee, underscoring their determination to address this serious issue.
