Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with eminent economists this Thursday to gather insights and suggestions for the forthcoming Budget, a senior government official reported.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present the 2024-25 Budget in the Lok Sabha on July 23.
The meeting was also attended by Niti Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery, Planning Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, Chief Economic Advisor V Anantha Nageswaran, and economists such as Surjit Bhalla and Ashok Gulati, along with veteran banker K V Kamath.
