A tragic collision occurred in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday when a double-decker bus rammed into a parked truck. The accident resulted in two fatalities and 16 injuries, officials confirmed.

District Magistrate Ashish Kumar reported that the bus, which was traveling from Miyanganj to Chandigarh, crashed into the truck in Toli village, within the Sikandara Rao police station limits. Kumar attributed the accident to the negligence of the bus driver.

Upon receiving the distress call, Hathras Superintendent of Police Nipun Aggarwal and his team rushed to the scene to conduct rescue operations. The injured were swiftly transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover further details.
