He said that the objective of this meeting is to ensure that the Kanwar Yatra is completed safely and peacefully with the cooperation of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal, Punjab, Rajasthan and other agencies. After discussing everyone's views, we have concluded that the sensitivity of the Kanwar Yatra has increased. The DGP said that there is a need to keep a close watch on the posts being made on social media regarding the Kanwar Yatra, for this social media monitoring will be increased. He said that we have to make efforts to keep the Kanwariyas on the fixed route of the Kanwar Yatra so that there is no disruption in traffic on the highway.
