President Droupadi Murmu reiterated the government's commitment to women-led development, spotlighting the NDA government's law that grants reservation to women in Parliament and assemblies.

"My Government, committed to women-led development, has initiated a new era of women empowerment. Women have long demanded greater representation in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha. Today, they are empowered through the enactment of Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam," President Murmu stated.

Over the past decade, various government schemes have bolstered women's economic empowerment. "Most of the four crore PM Awas houses built in the last decade are allotted to women beneficiaries. At the start of my government's third term, approval for constructing three crore new houses has been granted, with most going to women," she revealed.

In these ten years, 10 crore women have been mobilized into Self Help Groups. "My government launched a campaign to make three crore women 'Lakhpati Didis,' increasing financial support to these groups," she mentioned.

The government aims to enhance skills, income sources, and respect for women. The NAMO Drone Didi Scheme and Krishi Sakhi Initiative form crucial parts of this effort. "Under Krishi Sakhi, 30,000 women from Self Help Groups have received training in modern agricultural practices," she said.

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, providing higher interest rates on girls' bank deposits, and schemes offering free ration and affordable gas cylinders, are immensely popular among women.

President Murmu emphasized the government's dedication to building an inclusive society where women not only participate but lead in every field.
