On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek at the Gorakhnath temple and offered prayers to Lord Shiva for the well-being and prosperity of people of the state. The Chief Minister also extended heartfelt wishes to the people on Akshaya Tritiya. At the Shakti temple situated on the first floor of the Gorakhnath temple, he performed Rudrabhishek by offering 'bilva' leaves, lotus flowers, 'durva,' and various other puja materials amidst the recitation of mantras. Following the Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister performed 'havan' and 'aarti'.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his greetings on social media platform X, stating, "Best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious festival of good fortune and prosperity, Akshaya Tritiya! I pray to Tribhuvan Swami Lord Shri Vishnu Ji and Maa Lakshmi Ji that everyone's life be filled with happiness, peace, prosperity and good health"! Akshaya Tritiya is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Parashuram. The Chief Minister extended greetings on X, stating, "Heartfelt wishes to the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Lord Parashuram, the eternal symbol of knowledge, bravery and power."

Upon spotting Chief Minister Adityanath during his visit to the Gorakhnath temple complex, a large contingent of devotees from Maharashtra, who had come for the darshan of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath, erupted in joy. They began chanting "Jai Shri Ram" and "Yogi-Yogi." Additionally, the Chief Minister directed the temple management to ensure that no one faced any inconvenience. (ANI)
