The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the National Institute of Fashion Technology 2024 Entrance Examination on Thursday. Stage I, consisting of General Ability Test (GAT) and/or Creative Ability Test (CAT), was conducted on February 5 and the stage II examination that was the interview was conducted from April 1 to 6.

"NTA has conducted the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2024 Entrance Examination for various Bachelors and Masters Programmes. Stage I, consisting of the General Ability Test (GAT) and/or Creative Ability Test (CAT), was conducted on February 5, 2024, in 72 centres spread across 60 cities. Further, for shortlisted candidates in the Stage-I examination for Masters Programmes, Stage-II examination, i.e., interviews, was conducted from April 1 to 6 in New Delhi," an official release from the NTA said. "Now, score cards for Masters Programmes (M.Des., M.F. Tech., M.F.M.) are now hosted onNTA website i.e https://exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT/. Candidates can login to the NTA websiteand view/download/print their respective score card," the agency added.

NTA further notes that the final weighted marks obtained by the candidates have been arrived at as per the weights of different tests as applicable to the course applied by the candidate in which he/she has appeared. "Score card for the candidates who have applied in the Bachelor Programmes will be declaredby May 13, 2024," it added.

NTA does not have any responsibility for correctness/genuineness of the uploadedinformation/documents during the application process. The responsibility of NTA is limitedto inviting online applications, conducting the entrance test, and finalising answer keys afterinviting challenges, processing and declaration of shortlisting status. Candidates is purelyprovisional in nature and subject to verification by NIFT in the subsequent admission process, the release added. It is also to be mentioned that subsequent admission-related process will be handled by NIFTauthorities at their level and candidates are advised to contact NIFT for further queries related to seat allocation and further admission-related queries.
