Russia's Voronezh region declares crop emergency due to frost

One of Russia's top grain regions, Voronezh, has declared a state of emergency because of frost damage to crops, the regional agriculture ministry said on Wednesday. "According to preliminary data, the area of dead or severely damaged crops has exceeded 265,000 hectares," the ministry said in a statement on Telegram.
The governor of another region, Lipetsk, said it was considering introducing a similar state of emergency.
