Around 27,000 Seema Praharis and 57,000 volunteers participated in the mega cleanliness drive all over India. Seema Praharis, led by Shri Nitin Agrawal, IPS, DG BSF, and 500 officers and troops, participated in the cleanliness drive near Humayun's Tomb, Sunder Nursery, Gurudwara Damdama Sahib, New Delhi, from 1000 hrs onwards, the release stated.
According to the press release, cleanliness drives were also organised at various places in Delhi, NCR, including the area around the passport office in Sector 1, RK Puram, Ayyappa Temple, Saheed Kunwar Pal Singh Raghav GSS School and surrounding area, Bhondsi, Gurgaon, and in areas around PHC Chawwla.
