Vanessa Bell Calloway is returning as Imani Izzi in the upcoming sequel to 1988 romantic comedy "Coming to America". According to Variety, the actor played the match for Eddie Murphy's Prince Akeem arranged by his father, King Jaffe Joffer, a role essayed by James Earl Jones.
Comedian Luenell is also joining the film. Besides Murphy, Jones, Shari Headley, Arsenio Hall, John Amos, and Paul Bates are also reprising their roles in the follow-up to the Paramount Pictures project. The story would see Akeem learning about a long-lost son and returning to America to meet his unlikely heir to the throne of Zamunda - a Queens native named Lavelle.
